MBA women from across the nation will have the ability to “Discover their Potential” at the 2008 National Association of Women MBAs, (NAWMBAs) National Conference and Career Fair. The 2008 conference will be held in
The events of the 2008 conference begin on the evening of Thursday October 23rd with a networking reception at the
Friday’s events include a leadership breakfast, career fair, development workshops, and wiill conclude with a dinner and keynote speaker, Kim Brown, Vice President of Wal-Mart.
Saturday’s events include breakfast keynote speaker Janet Gurwitch, Founder of Laura Mercier Cosmetics, development panels, industry workshops, the case competition, and will end with a keynote lunch. Marilyn Carlson Nelson, Chairman of Carlson, one of the largest privately held companies in the US, the NAWMBA 2008 Leadership awards and Case Competition awards will also be presented at the closing keynote receptition.

Attendees will represent over 2000 student MBAs and a cross section of industry professional women MBAs. The sponsors will include approximately 90 companies who are dedicated to discovering and developing the potential of the nations’ MBA women.
This year NAWMBA will also offer a limited number of discounted tickets to Broadway shows on Saturday night. The tickets will be available to conference attendees for only $45! That price includes transportation between the Sheraton Hotel and New York City. Attendees must be present at the conference on Saturday to pick up their tickets. Tickets are $45 each and must be purchased online, prior to arrival at the conference.
